Pioneer Pines Construction

The original park was completed in 1973, and a second phase was completed in 1978. Unfortunately, due to ill health and inattention, the park was allowed to depreciate and deferred maintenance abounds.

The fact that management was inattentive has also led to resident apathy. The majority of the residents’ homes seem to lack pride of ownership. TAG, as a part of its’ purchase, has borrowed a large amount of funds for rehabilitation.

It is the purpose of this section of our site to track the progress of construction and reflect some before and after pictures. The general plan for rehabilitation include:

  1. Remodel of the clubhouse and laundry facilities (inside and outside);
  2. Add a child-care center in the present clubhouse;
  3. Add an exercise room in the clubhouse;
  4. Refurnish the clubhouse with new flooring, paint and furniture;
  5. Add all new trash enclosures;
  6. Add additional parking;
  7. Close 16 spaces and re-landscape;
  8. Refurbish and enclose the recreational vehicle storage;
  9. Replace the curbing and sidewalks where appropriate;
  10. Install ramps to the clubhouse;
  11. Rebuild the unused portion of the wash facilities to create an equipment garage and shop for the maintenance staff;
  12. Place a sound wall and decorative wall around the total perimeter of the park;
  13. Provide security gates for ingress and egress with electronic surveillance; and,
  14. To repopulate the park.

The goal is to create a new village within the park that is safe and attractive for residents of all ages.
